Promotion Name: 2026 Stanley Cup Final Ticket Giveaways (the "Promotion")

 

1. SPONSOR / ADMINISTRATOR

The Promotion is sponsored and administered by Cogent International Manufacturing Inc., doing business as Energy Bird (the "Sponsor"). All inquiries should be directed via the Sponsor’s "Contact Us" page or by email at Support@energybird.com

2. GOVERNING TERMS / ACCEPTANCE

By participating, each entrant ("Entrant") agrees to be bound by: (a) these Official Rules & Regulations (the "Rules"); and (b) the Sponsor’s website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Cancellation/Return/Refund Policy (collectively, the "Governing Terms"). In the event of conflict between these documents in connection with the Promotion, these Rules apply first, followed by the Terms of Use, then the Privacy Policy.

3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1 Eligible Entrants. The Promotion is open only to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory of residence at the time of entry.

3.2 Ineligible Persons. Employees, officers, directors, members, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, the National Hockey League (“NHL”), its member clubs, NHL Enterprises, L.P., NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P., NHL Enterprises B.V. and NHL Interactive CyberEnterprises, LLC (the foregoing NHL entities collectively, the “NHL Entities”), the National Hockey League Players’ Association (“NHLPA”) and their respective affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies, and any other parties involved in the administration of the Promotion (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), and each of their immediate family members and persons living in the same household, are not eligible.

3.3 Void Where Prohibited. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and is void where prohibited.

3.4 Québec language. A French version of these Rules and key promotional materials will be made available in accordance with applicable Québec language requirements.

4. PROMOTION PERIODS; DRAWS

There are four (4) separate prize draws (each, a “Draw”), as follows:

  • Draw #1: Draw date May 11,2026.
  • Draw #2: Draw date May 18, 2026.
  • Draw #3: Draw date May 25, 2026.
  • Draw #4: Draw date June 1, 2026.

 

Entry period: May 1-31, 2026 beginning at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, unless otherwise stated by Sponsor in writing (the “Entry Period”). Sponsor’s computer/server is the official timekeeper.

5. HOW TO ENTER (TWO METHODS)

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase is not required to enter or win. Entrants may enter by either method below (each, an "Entry").

5.1 Method A — Purchase Entry (Energybird.com)

To obtain one (1) Entry an Entrant may purchase one (1) product on energybird.com in a single order (a "Qualifying Purchase") during the Entry Period, in accordance with the instructions provided (a “Purchase Entry”). Each product purchased amounts to an Entry (e.g., a purchase of two (2) products amounts to two (2) Entries).

 

A Qualifying Purchase is valid only if: (a) it is placed and paid during the Entry Period; (b) it is not cancelled, refunded, charged back; and (c) it complies with the Governing Terms (including purchase/shipping restrictions).

5.2 Method B — Alternate Method of Entry (No-Purchase Entry)

To enter without purchase, during the Entry Period, an Entrant must mail a handwritten Entry request (the "Mail-In Entry") that includes: (a) Entrant’s full name, mailing address, province/territory, email address, and phone number; (b) the statement: "I wish to enter the Energy Bird 2026 Stanley Cup Final Ticket Giveaways"; (c) the specific Draw being entered (Draw #1, #2, #3 and/or #4); and (d) an original handwritten 200 - 250 word statement answering: "In your own words, what does ‘Right energy, right time’ mean to you?" The number of Entries will correspond to the number of Draws identified in the Mail-In Entry, subject to a maximum of one (1) Entry per Draw.

Mail-In Entries must be postmarked within and received by the Sponsor within the Entry Period at: Cogent International Manufacturing Ltd, 113-9295 198th Street, Langley, BC, V1M3J9, Canada, c/o Kimberley Cheung. For certainty, only Mail-In Entries received by the Sponsor before each Draw will be included in that Draw; any Mail-In Entry received after each Draw will be deemed submitted for the immediately following Draw, if any, failing which it will be void. Sponsor may reject Mail-In Entries that are incomplete, illegible, mechanically reproduced, bulk-submitted, or otherwise not compliant.

6. ENTRY LIMITS; ODDS

6.1 Limit. Purchase Entries are limited to fifty (50) Entries per person for the Entry Period. Each person can win the Prize only one (1) time (i.e., winners cannot be selected for participating in the other Draws).

6.2 No automated Entries. Automated, scripted, robotic, macro, or other automated means are prohibited. Sponsor may disqualify any Entrant where Sponsor reasonably believes there has been tampering, fraud, abuse, or breach of these Rules.

6.3 Odds. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received during the Entry Period.

7. PRIZES

7.1 Prize count. There are four (4) prizes total (each, a “Prize”).

7.2 Prize description (per Draw). Each Prize consists of: (a) two (2) tickets to a 2026 Stanley Cup Final game/event designated by Sponsor in its sole discretion (date/city/seat location subject to availability and restrictions); (b) travel and accommodation for two (2) travelers; and (c) CAD $ four hundred (400) Pre-Paid Credit Card, subject to the limitations and conditions in Section 10 below.

7.3 Approximate retail value ("ARV"). The ARV of each Prize is up to CAD $ ten thousand (10,000). Total ARV across all Prizes: CAD $ forty thousand (40,000). Actual value will vary depending on point of departure.

7.4 Tickets are subject to additional terms and conditions printed on the tickets or imposed by the supplier. No transfer; no cash alternative. Prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitution, transfer, assignment, or redemption for cash equivalent is permitted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute a Prize (or any component) with one of equal or greater value if a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Winners are responsible for any personal tax consequences associated with Prizes, if applicable.

8. WINNER SELECTION / DRAW PROCESS

8.1 Random Draw. On each Draw date, Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner by random Draw from all eligible Entries received.

8.2 Location. Draws will be conducted at Sponsor’s offices (or another location designated by Sponsor) in Toronto, Ontario (or such other location as Sponsor may designate).

8.3 Announcement. Winners may be announced on Sponsor’s website and/or Sponsor’s social platforms, including by reference to order number (for Purchase Entries).

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION / VERIFICATION

9.1 Notification. Potential winners will be notified using the contact method associated with their Entry (i.e., either email, text, or video call).

9.2 Response deadline. A potential winner must respond within twenty-four (24) hours of notification (or such other period stated in the notification). If a potential winner does not respond in time, is found ineligible, cannot satisfy the requirements below, does not comply with these Rules or declines the Prize, the Prize may be forfeited, and an alternate potential winner may be selected (time permitting) at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

9.3 Skill-testing question. Before being declared a winner, the potential winner must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by Sponsor (or its representative).

9.4 Documents. Sponsor may require the potential winner (and any guest, if applicable) to sign and return within the timeframe specified: (a) a declaration of eligibility and compliance; (b) a liability waiver and publicity release, releasing the Sponsor, the Promotion Entities and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, members, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this Promotion or the use, misuse, awarding or possession of any Prize; and (c) any travel-related releases/acknowledgements reasonably required to administer the Prize.

9.5 Purchase verification. For Purchase Entries, Sponsor may require proof of purchase and/or identity matching the order (including confirmation that the order was not cancelled/refunded/charged back).

10. TRAVEL / ACCOMMODATION CONDITIONS

10.1 Travel cap and inclusions. Travel and accommodation are limited to: two (2) 2026 Stanley Cup Final tickets + travel and two night hotel accommodation for two travelers to the Stanley Cup Final city location + CAD $ four hundred (400) Pre-Paid Credit Card up to a maximum value of CAD $ ten thousand (10,000).

10.2 Exclusions. Unless explicitly stated, the Prize does not include meals; ground transport; upgrades; personal services and expenses such as laundry, valet, room service; gratuities; baggage fees; insurance; incidentals; visas/passports; medical travel documents, or any other costs.

10.3 Scheduling. Travel dates, accommodation, and ticket/event logistics are determined by Sponsor, subject to availability and event constraints. Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documentation and permissions and must travel on the same itinerary. Winner and guest must travel on the dates and travel carriers and stay at the accommodations as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

10.4 Guest. If Sponsor permits a guest, guest must be of age of majority and may be required to execute releases. Winner is responsible for guest conduct.

10.5 Forfeiture for non-compliance. If a winner cannot travel, cannot satisfy entry/verification requirements, or cannot comply with event venue rules, Sponsor may award the Prize to an alternate winner or substitute components at Sponsor’s discretion. Winner and guest must obey all hotel and other activity rules and requirements, including the hotel requirement to present a major credit card. Failure to follow such hotel and other activity rules and requirements may result in, without limitation, ejection from events, non-admission to hotel and forfeiture of all or part of the Prize. In such a situation, the winner and/or guest will be responsible for any and all additional costs incurred and any unused portion of Prize will be forfeited.

Releasees will not be responsible if the winner or guest is denied entry onto aircraft, into the destination or destination airport, or return entry into the departure airport, due to travel restrictions (whether mandated by a governmental authority, airline or other), weather conditions, activity related cancellations, or other factors beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control which may prevent the Prize or part of the Prize from being fulfilled, and neither winner nor guest will not be entitled to compensation in lieu thereof. The Releasees are not responsible in the event any winner and/or guest is refused boarding at any time by the airline or airport security. In such a situation, the winner and/or guest will be responsible for any and all additional costs incurred.

11. PRIVACY / DATA USE

Sponsor will collect, use and disclose personal information for the administration of the Promotion (including winner selection, verification, travel coordination, and Prize fulfillment), and in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

Entrants’ use of social media platforms is subject to each platform’s privacy policy, as applicable.

12. PUBLICITY

To the extent permitted by law, by accepting a Prize, winners agree that Sponsor and the Promotion Entities (and their successors, assigns and licensees) may use their name, city/province of residence, likeness, and/or social media handle of the user for promotional purposes related to this Promotion in any media or format, whether now known or hereafter developed, at any time or times in perpetuity, without further compensation or notice, and the winners each hereby release the Releasees from any liability with respect thereto.

13. GENERAL CONDITIONS / DISQUALIFICATION

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant who violates these Rules, tampers with the Promotion, or engages in conduct that Sponsor reasonably considers to be fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or otherwise inconsistent with these Rules or Sponsor’s legitimate business interests. Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion (in whole or in part) at any time and without notice if, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, any factor interferes with its proper conduct, including but not limited to, fraud, technical failures, platform changes, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Proof of Entry submission does not constitute proof of receipt. Sponsor reserves the right to correct any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator errors. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of the Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then the Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to administer an alternate test of skill as it deems appropriate or necessary to comply with applicable law. Should a winner make any false statement(s) in any document referenced above, the winner may be required to promptly return to Sponsor their prize, or the cash value thereof. All company names, logos, product and service names, designs, images, and slogans used in connection with the Promotion or administration of the Promotion are trademarks of their respective owners. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROMOTION OR

UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE RELEASEES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR: LOST/LATE/MISDIRECTED ENTRIES; TECHNICAL OR PLATFORM FAILURES; HUMAN ERROR; OR ANY INJURY, LOSS, OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION, PRIZE ACCEPTANCE, TRAVEL, OR ATTENDANCE AT ANY EVENT.

BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROMOTION, ENTRANTS AGREE THAT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE RELEASEES HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE RELEASED, DISCHARGED AND HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANTS AGAINST, ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH: (A) ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION, (B) THE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION, (C) USE/MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, AND (D) ANY CLAIMS BASED ON PERSONALITY OR PRIVACY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR PRIZE DELIVERY. PRIZE WINNERS ASSUME ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE CAUSED, OR CLAIMED TO BE CAUSED, BY PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION OR USE OR REDEMPTION OF A PRIZE.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CONSUMER RIGHTS OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; THEREFORE, SUCH EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

15. SOCIAL PLATFORMS / THIRD-PARTY RELEASES

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta/Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, Reddit (collectively, the “Platforms”). By entering the Promotion, Entrants release the Platforms from all responsibility and liability related to this Promotion.

The NHL Entities and the NHLPA are not sponsors of this Promotion and are not responsible for the administration of the Promotion or awarding of Prizes.

16. GOVERNING LAW / DISPUTES

Except where prohibited by mandatory law, these Rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and any disputes shall be brought in the courts located in Ontario. For Québec residents, mandatory Québec consumer protection rules apply to the extent they cannot be waived.
